Trish McEvoy & Lowcountry Aids Services Have Charleston Seeing Red
Trish McEvoy is painting Holy City pouts ruby red this holiday season with a new lipstick released exclusively in Charleston to raise funds for the Lowcountry Aids Services (LAS).
This marks the first time that the internationally renowned Trisch McEvoy cosmetic brand has participated in a regional fundraiser. The gesture is a show of gratitude from Trish to the LAS which supported her longtime employee, Andrew Peterson, during his personal road to recovery.
Starting today, the lipstick entitled “Gorgeous Red” is available at Gwynn's of Mt. Pleasant and Saks Fifth Avenue on King Street. Shop guilt free knowing that a generous donation of three dollars and fifty cents from every tube sold will go directly to the LAS!
Hobnobcharleston will hold several events around Charleston to support the lip color. On Tuesday November 17,Social Wine Bar and Restaurant on East Bay Street will host a launch party replete with food and drink specials, DJ Spaced Invaders, door prizes, and demonstrations showing how anyone can sport classic red lips. All the events will also be promoting World Aids Day which is December 1, 2009. For more information visit www.hobnobcharleston.com
